Thorlabs提供未镀膜和镀增透膜的平凸柱面透镜。镀UV、A膜、B膜和C膜透镜的两面具有分别适用于245 - 400 nm、350 - 700 nm、650 - 1050 nm或1050 - 1700 nm的增透膜。紫外熔融石英在深紫外波段具有很高的透过率,且几乎不产生激光诱导荧光(193 nm处测量),因此非常适合紫外到近红外波长的应用。这些正柱面透镜适用于需要一维放大光束的应用。球透镜从两个维度对入射光发挥作用,且作用是对称的,而柱面透镜只在一个维度上起作用。这些透镜的典型应用是通过一对柱面透镜以整形变形光束。使用一对正柱面透镜可以准直激光二极管的出射光束,并将其整形成圆形光束。另一种可行应用是利用单个柱面透镜将发散的光束聚焦到探测器阵列上。为了最大程度地减少球差,在把光束聚焦成一条线时,准直光源应入射到透镜曲面,而在准直线光源时,线光源应入射到透镜平面。

- 仅为镀膜透镜的指定波长范围内。对于未镀膜的透镜,每个表面的反射率大约为4%。
- 类似于平面光学元件的表面平整度,光圈数(surface power)为球面光学元件的表面相对校准基准的偏差,除非另有说明,一般是针对633 nm光源。此参数也常称为曲面拟合。
